EMILY
The Budgie
Emily was a special sixth birthday present for Roxanne.
A green budgie - she was loved by her young owner ( even when she pecked her fingers :-)
Unfortunately our three cats were quite fond of Emily too
and there were several traumatic moments trying to keep them apart.
Emily died on the morning of Saturday the 1st April 2000,
despite our tender attempts to save her
( by warming a tiny blanket in the microwave to wrap her in)
